How I let stress go
About ten years ago, I was running an ecommerce business. Growing fast, pushing hard, doing everything right by the metrics that mattered. But internally? I was burned out and anxious all the time. Everyone could see I was stretched past the breaking point. No matter what I did, nothing seemed to work in my favour. I tried therapy, but that didn’t work for me and medication just made me feel like a zombie all the time. I just felt like I was drowning, trying to come up for air but failing.
One day, a friend sent me a Wim Hof video (if you don’t know check him out on YouTube!). Out of desperation, I tried it, despite it seeming crazy at first. Jump in icy cold water and breath in and out rhythmically... surely that wasn’t going to help me much. But how wrong was I?
Cold plunge, sauna and breathwork
Something in me broke open, a lot of emotion, a few tears, and more importantly, an overwhelming sense of gratitude to be alive. For the first time in months, I felt like myself.
From that point on, I immersed myself in everything to do with breathwork and contrast therapy (cold plunge + sauna). I became Malaysia's first certified Wim Hof breathwork instructor and decided to make it my mission to help as many people as possible discover what saved me. Not through pills or endless talking, but through the most basic tool we all have... our breath, our nervous system, our ability to reset.

Why LuxeSpa?
As my breathwork community grew, I noticed that people wanted more. They wanted the cold, too! Then they wanted the full contrast therapy experience with the sauna. The biggest problem people face is that they have to go to to a fancy hotel or a location far away from their home and brave KL traffic just to get some peace!
Until recently, the cold plunges on the market haven’t been that great. Cheap chillers that broke in a year. Designs that didn't fit Malaysian homes. Saunas that felt generic and mass-produced. So I did what I always do. I went looking for the best. I traveled, sourced globally, vetted every chiller personally. I partnered with Malaysia's largest customized sauna manufacturer. The same partner that equips five-star hotels and elite wellness centers.

Do LuxeSpa cold plunges and saunas come with a warranty?
Yes. All of our products come with a three-year warranty. In the unlikely situation that you have any issues, we will endeavour to repair the equipment, or replace it if necessary.
